Supported by Dublin City Community Forum we have previously worked with volunteers last year making media on the topics of Mayday and International Womens Day and we are seeking volunteers for a days filming on May 1st with a pre-production/planning meeting on Monday 22nd Of April at 6pm .
So if you want to get involved in filming interviews , discussions , music, comedy, event reports or anything else you would like to propose we will provide training and support.
First step is a meeting on the evening of Monday 22nd Of April to bring your ideas to and meet the other volunteers – no experience is necessary. For more details and to get involved fill in the form here . Your work will be on television as all material will be shown on DCTV on UPC channel 802 and online on DCTV’s channel on Aertv.ie as well as being available via our vimeo .

Each Wednesday afternoon, DCTV runs a studio operator training course which is free to paid up members of the station.
We have been running the course throughout the year and members that have completed it have gone on to become actively involved in our ongoing volunteer production Citywide, as well as creating their own studio productions like The Live Register and Bump TV.
The course requires no previous experience and is a great taster for
groups and individuals who want to actively get involved in making
community television.
The course shows the basic operation of the studio and offers the
opportunity for participants to make a short video piece.
The studio has a fully digital workflow including three remote control
cameras, vision and audio mixers and the ability to broadcast live on cable and the internet.
We are now accepting bookings for places on our courses in 2013.
