Here’s the list of programmes we’re putting out over the coming month as part of our Deaf Block. Plenty of other DCTV programmes have subtitles too, but these are especially designed to ensure smooth access of viewing of our content among the deaf community. It’ll go out at 830 am and 2am every day!
Tomorrow on International Women’s Day there’ll be another schedule takeover on DCTV. From 2pm we’ll be broadcasting a special range of content to celebrate and mark the day. There’ll be other bits and pieces popping up in parts of the schedule all day. Below is just some of the content that will be shown, you can expect more shorts through out the day and on the bulletin board in between our blocks of content.
Much of the material below has been screened on the station already and some of it can even be made available for local screenings. Don’t forget, our Independent Media slot this month also features content looking at the working lives of women, the role of women in the Zapatista struggle, the effects of war on women in Iraq and more…

Over the past week we’ve moved forward light years ahead in terms of our capability to deliver information on our programming. As well as our monthly schedules that detail the content and play out times of our programme blocks, we now offer a daily schedule which breaks down and provides exact information on all our programming.
There’s an automatically generated daily print out available too. On this page you’ll also find links to online versions of our programming and more information where it is available. As with the roll out of all new systems, there will be glitches with this too. It’ll take a couple of days at the start of each month to get the new schedules fed into the daily system and probably a bit longer to iron out other glitches. But don’t worry, we’ll get there eventually.
Over on our Vimeo page, we are constantly adding more and more of the ground breaking and innovative television and video that our members and wider supporters continue to offer to us on a weekly basis. This makes up the content of our blocks which can be surfed thematically on our website.
