Hey guys! I would have dropped you a line before now but I only came across your Facebook notice today. I just graduated from Uni in England with a degree in Film Production, and I’m eager to get some real experience. My goal is to become a film editor one day, hopefully! So if DCTV is ever in need of any help in anything relating to Post Production please do get in contact. Hi from The Freedom from Fluoride group on Facebook which has more than 2000 members now . We want the Irish government to stop spending our money on putting Fluoride in Irish water, as there is now a lot of evidence that it has extremely adverse effects on health,particularly for babies, children, elderly people and anyone with a medical condition.
A few of us want to make a film about fluoride and wonder if you would be able to helop us. Many thanks, Shan

Hi there,

I was just told about DCTV and spotted that you were looking for volunteers.
I have just been made redundant from my day job as an advertising copywriter. But I have 20 years experience creating and executing advertising for commercial and non-governmental clients. I was also responsible for several public information campaigns for the referendum commission.
I have also worked as a journalist starting out with Hot Press and In Dublin and then as the AFP Cambodia Correspondent. I also worked as a columnist for Thailand’s The Nation and was a stringer for Radio France Internationale (RFI) and did occasional work for BBC, ABC, Radio Deutschewelle and others.
I have also worked occasionally as an election supervisor for the OSCE in Bosnia and the EU/UN in Congo-Brazzaville, the Ivory Coast and Madagascar.
Currently I contribute to Village Magazine and was a founder member of online political discussion forum http://www.politicalworld.or
In my spare time I help promote Moroccan Sufi musicians The Master Musicians of Joujouka and helped them get the opening slot on the Pyramid stage at last summer’s Glastonbury festival.
My most recent piece of writing was an account of the Occupy movement which was published on Cedar Lounge Revolution http://cedarlounge.wordpress.com/2012/01/10/down-with-that-sort-of-thing/
In addition to writing and producing radio ads which I thoroughly enjoy, I have been a guest several times on David McWilliam’s former Newstalk show.
I found being on live radio as fascinating as it was stimulating. Making a point while at the same time formulating the perfect articulation of the follow up some three sentences ahead was a form of mental and verbal chess that I relished. And if listeners are to believed i allegedly excelled at it.
As the above link to sample work shows, I worked as a theatre critic in my day.
As I have time on my hands, I would be most eager to help out in any way possible.
