Got this site from The Belfast Forum where someone wanted to do a story on Mackies and another ex Mackie guy gave us the link. Enjoyed it very much.
Worked in Mackies Tinsmith's shop 1961-65 when Jim Rogers (Lord Mayor) was an apprentice. Got fired for washing my hands before going to the toilet on a Thursday morning. Reinstated as personel dept didn't want me to publish what happened with the big Typhoid epidemic in England at it's peak, went home for lunch and posted an application to Short's for a job.(Had served my time there) Got a telegram Friday afternoon to go for an interview Saturday morning and had to leave an overtime shift on the Saturday morning for an interview then back to work. Put my weeks notice in Monday morning AFTER everyone had their tea break when the boss used to go for a smoke to let the guys have their tea.
Only stayed until the end of the week as I knew my boss would get me good the next time and went back to Shorts. I Immigrated to Montreal Canada in 1968 to Canadair (Bombardier) Then to Air Canada for 25 years.1973 - 1998.

Hi there, I was also waiting for a link to the torrent but if it suits you better to send out a DVD then that's fine although I'd prefer the torrent because it saves having to rip the DVD onto my laptop.
Is there a way to send my address without posting it here?

Hi guys, if you send your address to dublintv AT gmail and we can send you out a DVD once the run is done. Can you tell us more about your plans to do a screening of the series so we can publicise it on our site etc?
