Tapestry Project outlined at DCTU event: Tuesday 18th Sept 6.30pm

At a Dublin Council of Trade Unions meeting next Tuesday evening entitled “How Should our Movement Commemorate the Lockout” DCTV will show details of it’s Tapestry project which will produce 7 hours of Lockout related community television for broadcast next Autumn.

There will be presentations from others planning projects including a progress report on the construction of the physical Tapestry by the 1913 committee and some of the academic and artistic projects in the planning. Donal Fallon, on of those behind the Come Here To me blog will speak as will Terry Fagan of the Local History Archive.

DCTV will support the meeting by recording pitches for projects on the evening and will circulate a report on the proposed projects. A report will be given on the filming to date for the Lockout programmes by DCTV. Contact Tapestry@dctv.ie for more information.
