DCTV are looking for members with a proven track record in programme production to submit proposals for round 27 of Sound and Vision.
This is an open round.
The closing date for the Sound & Vision television programme production scheme applications to the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland is Thursday 12 noon, the 15th of September, 2016.
If you are interested in applying to this fund, then please fill out the attached programme (attached to this post) proposal form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org under the heading “BAI Programme Proposal.”
Please have the attached proposal form with us by 5pm on Thursday, the 18th of August, 2016.
Members will receive a decision from the panel on whether DCTV are in a position to provide them with a broadcast letter, four days after they have submitted their application.
This is irrespective of whether the application is made on or before 5pm Thursday, the 18th of August, 2016. Programme Proposal Forms will not be accepted after this cut off date.
A DCTV panel, made up of DCTV members with experience in this field, will decide if the proposal has the necessary community ethos and if the applicant has the proven track record to make the programme on time andon budget. DCTV will then be in a position to give the applicant a broadcast letter. Applications will need to show real support for DCTV.
DCTV will not be in a position to support the application writing but the following part of the BAI website provides guidelines and proceedures on how to fill out applications,
Finally, please keep in mind that this will contribute to the recovery of DCTV, and we assure you that there is no question of us not continuing to broadcast.
Thank you for your continued support.
The DCTV Committee.
